Not final, just a test.  How does having a picture help the poet? It helps the poet create an image for the reader to get a better understanding about what she is writing about.
The first poem by Joseph was written in a way that it really hit home. In the States, may families have experienced loss due to sons and daughters going away for their tour. He really talked about that, and also how many monopoly companys and corporations control most of what we, the average consumer, have and do.
Kim's poetry had a much more story driven themes to them, specifically talking about human's darker side. Very specific, and very descriptive, her stories could be understood and they had the ability to paint a vivid picture. Friday 24, meet at library. Topics needed: causes, symptoms, statistics, cure, remedies, and research.
